Modular Cost-Effective Pulsed IV

Pulsed IV and Pulsed Load Pull Solutions!

The Focus Pulsed IV system is available as an integrated solution or as a modular cost effective alternative for users, who already own DC power supplies, computers and digital oscilloscopes, which can be hooked up with Focus' Drain and Gate Pulsers to configure a pulsed IV test setup. The Focus pulsed IV capability (PIV) is also configurable to a Pulsed Load Pull (PLP) setup when a pulsed RF source and Peak power meter are included... more

Manual Microwave Tuners, MMT (with Harmonic Tuning Capability) for frequencies between 0.4 and 50 GHz !!

Manual Microwave Tuners are designed for critical RF impedance matching operations, like Load Pull and Noise measurements. MMTs use parallel plate airlines (slablines) and one or two sliding carriages with one vertical micrometer screw and a microwave probe (slug) each. The microwave probes and slablines are designed to generate high reflection factors over a very wide frequency band (such as 0.8 to 18 GHz with typical VSWR of 20:1). The two independently adjustable carriages allow mutual prematching of the probes and thus selectively extremely high VSWR (greater than 50:1). The sliding mechanism and the probe layout ensure long lasting operation, high reproducibility and insensitivity to vibrations. Manual Microwave Tuners are manufactured for frequencies from 400 MHz to 50 GHz, using a variety of connector types. When one of the two wideband probes is replaced by a resonant head(1) the manual tuners can be used for independent tuning of the harmonic impedance at 2fo with very high VSWR (>30:1).
